The reports emanating from the illegal PM's visit and what he told the people of Ra that after the 2014 elections he will step down as illegal PM, but will stay on as Commander, so, he can be the watchful eye of the new government from 2014 till the end of times is A BLATANT ATTACK ON OUR INDIVIDUAL RIGHT to say NO MORE MILITARISATION IN FIJI.

Fiji Sun - Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will remain Commander of the Fiji Military Forces when he steps aside to allow for a general election in 2014.
Commodore Bainimarama will ‘relinquish’ the Prime Minister’s post but will remain at the helm of the military.
The Fiji Military Forces will keep the elected Government under the microscope. 

“What actually transpired was the Prime Minister saying the military will monitor whichever Government comes into play and regardless of whether he is there, the military will be there to monitor the Government,” he said.

We are a people with individuals who have our own thoughts, our own values, our own traditions, our own visions, etc...Who is this man telling us that WE NEED HIM? We DO NOT!

We're incensed with this continued tactics of FEAR! DICTATORSHIP AND TYRANNY!

Military regime to consider 'accepting' UNHRC recommendations - What!?

This report from the military regime backed FBCL speaks volume of the lack of respect of those running our country to the abyss. Hmmm...they will "...consider whether to ACCEPT the 116 recommendations..." What? You don't consider to accept recommendations when it comes to the issue of treating another human being with RESPECT! You have to do it if you have one ounce of RESPECT, INTEGRITY AND MORAL RESPONSIBILITY for the lives and the rights of those YOU DIDN'T GIVE BIRTH TO! How dare this people do this us, our children and our future. Well, every dog has its day...and to all these people, yours will come.

The Fiji government is now considering whether to accept the 116 recommendations made by the Human Rights Council’s working group, which reviewed Fiji’s human rights record in Geneva this week.

In his closing remark Ambassador Anasa Vocea says the working group was genuine in carrying out its work, where it didn’t finger point any of Fiji’s human rights records and also made some good advice. REALLY? THE WORKING GROUP DIDN'T POINT ANY FINGER AT THE REGIME'S HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES...NOW THAT'S A DREAM!

However, Australia continued to point out that Fiji lacks a good human rights record as it was constantly reminded by the working group to use the appropriate terminology when referring to States. GO OZZIE! GO!

The United Kingdom and the United States again were repeating their calls for an early return to parliamentary rule. YES. SO THEY CAN GIVE US THE AID THEY WANT TO GIVE FOR OUR DEVELOPMENT.

On the other hand, China, Russia, Mexico and the Philippines urged the international community to support the government’s roadmap to democracy. WHAT HAVE THESE COUNTRIES DONE FOR US EXCEPT MAYBE TO GIVE US LOANS THAT WILL BE THE BURDEN FOR OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN TO PAY IN DAYS TO COME BECAUSE VOREQE AND HIS CHILDREN WON'T BE ABLE TO.

Thirty three countries commented on Fiji’s report. MOSTLY TO HIGHLIGHT THE HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES BY THIS MILITARY REGIME AND THEIR CALL FOR VOREQE TO GIVE US BACK OUR COUNTRY, OUR JUDICIARY, OUR FREEDOM!

Funny how this illegal PM can say one thing and do another. All these grievances are becoming like they are because, get this - Voreqe, with his coup and reforms have in the process made us a nation of TELL-A-TALES, WHINERS and PROBLEM MAKERS instead of PROBLEM SOLVERS.

We DID have the right channels of lodging complaints before, but with Voreqe's coup and NOT FOLLOWING THE RIGHT CHANNEL himself to gain power and implement his reforms (which is through elections), he is setting his own STUPID/IDIOTIC example for lay-villagers to follow suit.

Funny, how ALL these trouble-shooting he is trying to make is his own doing...hahahaha.

LAND ownership grievances had increased recently to become a widespread problem, according to Army Commander Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.

He made the comment while addressing a group of Yalobi villagers on the island of Waya in the Yasawa Group.
The villagers were concerned that a neighbouring beachfront property had been sold without their consent. Commodore Bainimarama advised the villagers to approach the proper authorities.
He said there had been numerous requests for government intervention in land disputes during his visits around the country.
Prior to the Yalobi Village visit, villagers of Namara in neighbouring Wayasewa had also sought help in resolving the Vomo Island ownership dispute.

"People need to follow the right channels; there are no short-cuts," he said. Yeah right! This from the man who didn't follow the right channel himself to voice his concern for a multi-party government he felt was doing wrong BY HIM!

Commodore Bainimarama said a lot of the bureaucracy had been smoothed out, making it easier for every individual or community to air grievances.
The villagers had told Commodore Bainimarama that a search of records revealed the land had been sold by individuals who were not members of their landowning unit. They claimed that one of the signatories to sales and purchase papers was a man who was from Nadi. They said traditional requests for return of the parcel of land had been turned down.
