Wednesday, June 23, 2010
The Undersecretary for the Department of Economic Development of the Abu Dhabi Government, Mohammed Omar Abdulla says Fiji as an administrative, economic and geographical hub must be given more international exposure. He made the comments at a meeting with ILLEGAL Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.
Bainimarama is in Abu Dhabi with ILLEGAL Minister for Trade and Investment Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum for a summit of pacific island leaders and the Arab League.
Bainimarama says Fiji is now part of the non-aligned movement and is focused on its look north policy which involves developing relationships with countries outside the Southern Pacific sphere.
