The Bainimarama MILITARY REGIME wants to wipe out all forms of racial discrimination from Fiji’s statute books and government policies and regulations, says ILLEGAL Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
Wipe out? Is that really possible?? We would love for it to happen but only a naive, delusional person can think that with their efforts they can wipe it out! Harmonious living is possible but total eradication of racial issues is not!
The MILITARY REGIME is committed to building a future based on equality and respect for human rights, said Sayed-Khaiyum, in a statement yesterday to mark International Human Rights Day.
First start with you guys - to respect our rights, which also includes our right to freedom! The selective stand is becoming nonsensical.
He said this commitment would lead to “substantive peace and justice, not just the uneasy peace of a generation brought up to believe in the evils of communalism and of religious fundamentalism and intolerance”.
Really!? How can you guarantee that for our children and grandchildren, illegal AG?
"A generation who believe in evils" you say illegal AG? Who gave you the power to say that on our behalf? It's not a generation, but a group of people in this military regime only, which includes you Sayed-Khaiyum.
“Fiji has had an anguished political history based on racial inequality and marginalisation which in turn has led to institutionalised racism. Fiji has seen the absence of common and equal citizenry,” said Sayed-Khaiyum.
Common and equal citizentry has resulted in the Native Americans of the USA, Aborigines of Australia and the Maoris of NZ for example, having to continue to fight for what is rightfully theirs. The indigenous people don't have to fight for what's rightfully theirs. And you know what we're talking about, so, don't give us crap of equal rights on this one! We're already equal. You have what is yours. We have what is ours! EQUAL!
He said while Fiji had been a signatory to international human rights instruments, the Bainimarama MILITARY REGIME had updated criminal laws which had been lagging in the areas of protecting women from violence, the taking of evidence from the vulnerable and the discriminatory law of corroboration in sexual cases.
Criminal laws lagging? You didn't even give the legitimate, elected governments a chance to do what the people chose them to do. And now you want to point fingers at them. Amazing how an upstart idiot who got his position by the barrel of his cohort's guns is trying to point fingers at others' shortcomings when he and his gun-totting idiots robbed that opportunity from the elected leaders.
As the saying goes...ONE SHOULD NOT ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT, BECAUSE THEY WILL TRY AND BEAT YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND WEAR YOU OUT IN THE PROCESS.

WHO'S PAYING FOR FREE BUS FARES AND TEXTBOOKS? YOU - THE FIJI TAXPAYERS
NOTHING IN LIFE COMES FOR FREE.
This is so fitting when it comes to Voreqe's FREEBIE SCHEMES. Because even when it says FREE IN VOREQE'S MILITARY REGIME, YOU ACTUALLY PAY FOR IT.
So, the citizens of Fiji in the villages, squatters and poverty stricken areas are jumping up and down regarding the news of FREE BUS FARES AND TEXTBOOKS! Yippee!! No one has done this before they might think. The Vore must be really doing what's best for Fiji.
Oh well! sorry to burst your bubble if you're one of the ignorant ones being sucked into this whole Bullcrap!! With the military already milking funds from taxpayers to accomodate their larger than life lifestyles, someone has to PAY FOR THESE FREEBIES. Yes, Voreqe
may say/think that Chinese funds will do the trick BUT that's not enough. So, who gets to foot the bill?
THE TAXPAYERS OF FIJI! NOT VOREQE OR HIS MILITARY REGIME! DUH!
How do they do it? INCREASE THE LEVIES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE POLICE, AT LEAST.
The Fiji Police has significantly increased fees it levies for service offered to the public. Normal service fees have been increased 6-fold in some instances whilst a new fee for “Urgent Processing” is also being introduced.
Some increases:
How can increasing fees and charges ENHANCE SERVICE DELIVERY? Really!
This is just another fast-track avenue to raise the funds to PAY FOR THE "FREE" BUS FARES AND TEXTBOOKS. So, in Voreqe's regime...
NOTHING IS FREE!!!!! YOU, THE FIJI TAXPAYERS (and visitors) HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR OWN SO-CALLED "FREE" BUS FARE AND TEXTBOOK SCHEME!
DA MAI LASUTAKI!
