Merry Xmas everyone...as ex-prisoners become civil servants!

Ok...restorative justice is a good thing, but the way this illegal regime are so into themselves in their own sickening self-promotional ways, it's nauseating.

While unemployment increases, the so-called brilliance of the military regime are thinking of soon accepting ex-prisoners into the civil service "if they meet the qualifications and skill requirements of advertised position."

Maybe before they do that, they can publish a list of ALL current and soon to be ex-prisoners we have in our prisons, with their qualifications and skills that may suit any civil service positions. However, why can't these ex-prisoners start from the bottom first like everybody else (like toilet cleaning in a civil service office), especially since they were given the opportunity in the first place NOT TO WRONG society but chose to do so anyway.

Yes, they may have been reformed and deserve a second chance, but giving it to them on a silver platter is not the way to do it. Because by doing so, they will be offending other society members who have not done any wrong, but will have to be put second on the list because the military regime want their opposers to see what "GOOD" (not!) they are doing for those who have wronged our society by giving them a chance in the civil service.

Is this a set-up for when the military regime become ex-prisoners themselves one day? hmmmm...anyways...

MERRY XMAS EVERYONE AND A PROSPEROUS 2010 TO ALL...LET FREEDOM COME!

--------------------------------------------------

From Fijilive - Ex-prisoners will soon be accepted into the public service if they meet the qualifications and skill requirements of advertised positions.

Public Service Commission chairman Josefa Serulagilagi said this will be done on a case by case basis and upon the recommendation of the Commissioner of Prisons.

Serulagilagi made the comment while at the Prison Services Excellence Awards which is being held in Suva.

“..And in accordance with government’s vision to reform the civil service, your department has done exceptionally well in the area of capacity building, the commercialisation of prison industries and the enhancement of public engagement.”

“We are all aware that Prisons and Correctional Services are defined by legislative actions, and in this regard, the Prisons and Corrections Act of 2006, was a milestone achievement in modernising the service,” Serulagilagi said.

He added that the Yellow Ribbon Program, an innovative approach at rehabilitating prisoners by increasing public awareness and acceptance of ex-prisoners and their issues, was a breath of fresh air which took Fiji by storm.

Shame on you Bainimarama and military regimers!

The report regarding the non-inclusion of the Fiji Times and Fiji TV in the consultations with other media organisations for the development of a Media Decree is another display of shameful and childish rhetoric by Bainimarama's military regime, and in particular the illegal minister responsible for this media decree.

Their reasons for the Fiji Times' and Fiji TV's exclusion is not something new. As this is how this military regime continues to bamboozle the very people whose power to consult, negotiate and move Fiji forward IN GOOD FAITH, was trampled upon and stolen from them at their gunpoint. This is however, another way (added to the many other ways) those who try and see the optimistic side of this regime e.g. Sir Paul, Father Barr, Akuila Yabaki, etc should clearly open their eyes to see what those of us who believe in democracy (never mind its inadequacies) already know about this regime.

They can ONLY MONOLOGUE.
They can ONLY GIVE THREATS.
They can ONLY ACT CHILDISHLY TO GET THEIR WAY.

And these are people who are trying to "LEAD" our country?

For the military regime to say that the Fiji Times and Fiji TV are not pro-Fiji is a total laugh! Those of us who don't support or even want to acknowledge all the happenings in Fiji since Dec. 5, 2006 are totally pro-Fiji. But what we're not is pro-Bainimarama and his military regime. Because Fiji as it is, is a GOOD THING. Unfortunately for Fiji, we have ego-centric, pathological liars and cowards in its midst who possess guns, who believe that with their guns they can force others to follow them blindly. Sorry Fulori! Some others are better off than you Bainimarama and your military regimers because we possess that small amount of values, integrity, moral responsibility, maturity and intelligence to know that when something is ILLEGAL WE WILL NOT SUPPORT IT, never mind the means or altruistic motivations that enabled it.

If this is one way to exclude a legible entity from consultations, imagine what the other dialogues to take Fiji back to democratic rule is going to be like. And again, this is a reminder to the people of Fiji -

WE MUST NEVER, EVER CONDONE OR ACCEPT THE MILITARY'S STANCE TO BE OUR DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENTS' SUPERVISOR IN THE FUTURE. WE, THE PEOPLE ARE VERY CAPABLE OF DOING THAT OURSELVES BECAUSE WE DON'T NEED GUNS TO KEEP OUR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS IN LINE. IT'S INHUMANE. IT'S ANTI-HUMAN RIGHTS!!!!! IT'S ANTI-FIJIAN!!!

Illegal regime's effort to keep clutching onto straws

The Bainimarama MILITARY REGIME wants to wipe out all forms of racial discrimination from Fiji’s statute books and government policies and regulations, says ILLEGAL Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.

Wipe out? Is that really possible?? We would love for it to happen but only a naive, delusional person can think that with their efforts they can wipe it out! Harmonious living is possible but total eradication of racial issues is not!

The MILITARY REGIME is committed to building a future based on equality and respect for human rights, said Sayed-Khaiyum, in a statement yesterday to mark International Human Rights Day.

First start with you guys - to respect our rights, which also includes our right to freedom! The selective stand is becoming nonsensical.

He said this commitment would lead to “substantive peace and justice, not just the uneasy peace of a generation brought up to believe in the evils of communalism and of religious fundamentalism and intolerance”.

Really!? How can you guarantee that for our children and grandchildren, illegal AG?

"A generation who believe in evils" you say illegal AG? Who gave you the power to say that on our behalf? It's not a generation, but a group of people in this military regime only, which includes you Sayed-Khaiyum.

“Fiji has had an anguished political history based on racial inequality and marginalisation which in turn has led to institutionalised racism. Fiji has seen the absence of common and equal citizenry,” said Sayed-Khaiyum.

Common and equal citizentry has resulted in the Native Americans of the USA, Aborigines of Australia and the Maoris of NZ for example, having to continue to fight for what is rightfully theirs. The indigenous people don't have to fight for what's rightfully theirs. And you know what we're talking about, so, don't give us crap of equal rights on this one! We're already equal. You have what is yours. We have what is ours! EQUAL!

He said while Fiji had been a signatory to international human rights instruments, the Bainimarama MILITARY REGIME had updated criminal laws which had been lagging in the areas of protecting women from violence, the taking of evidence from the vulnerable and the discriminatory law of corroboration in sexual cases.

Criminal laws lagging? You didn't even give the legitimate, elected governments a chance to do what the people chose them to do. And now you want to point fingers at them. Amazing how an upstart idiot who got his position by the barrel of his cohort's guns is trying to point fingers at others' shortcomings when he and his gun-totting idiots robbed that opportunity from the elected leaders.

As the saying goes...ONE SHOULD NOT ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT, BECAUSE THEY WILL TRY AND BEAT YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND WEAR YOU OUT IN THE PROCESS.

WHO'S PAYING FOR FREE BUS FARES AND TEXTBOOKS? YOU - THE FIJI TAXPAYERS

NOTHING IN LIFE COMES FOR FREE.

This is so fitting when it comes to Voreqe's FREEBIE SCHEMES. Because even when it says FREE IN VOREQE'S MILITARY REGIME, YOU ACTUALLY PAY FOR IT.

So, the citizens of Fiji in the villages, squatters and poverty stricken areas are jumping up and down regarding the news of FREE BUS FARES AND TEXTBOOKS! Yippee!! No one has done this before they might think. The Vore must be really doing what's best for Fiji.

Oh well! sorry to burst your bubble if you're one of the ignorant ones being sucked into this whole Bullcrap!! With the military already milking funds from taxpayers to accomodate their larger than life lifestyles, someone has to PAY FOR THESE FREEBIES. Yes, Voreqe
may say/think that Chinese funds will do the trick BUT that's not enough. So, who gets to foot the bill?

THE TAXPAYERS OF FIJI! NOT VOREQE OR HIS MILITARY REGIME! DUH!

How do they do it? INCREASE THE LEVIES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE POLICE, AT LEAST.

Fiji Police raise service fees

The Fiji Police has significantly increased fees it levies for service offered to the public. Normal service fees have been increased 6-fold in some instances whilst a new fee for “Urgent Processing” is also being introduced.

Some increases:
  • Normal Immigration and Employment (local) clearance fee frm $22.50 to $60.
  • Clearance fee for overseas from $33.75 to $100.
  • “Urgent Processing” fee for these services will be at $150. There is no such fee currently in place.
  • Fees for Bailiffs, Money Lenders, Hotel License, Liquor License, Immigration Work Permit and Rehabilitation Certificate from $22.50 to $150.
  • Police clearance fee for Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Public Service Vehicle (PSV) from $22.50 to $100.
  • Urgent processing of Employment Vetting services (1 day) will have to pay $100 while urgent processing of “Other Business Vetting” will cost $200.
And get this, the ILLEGAL Minister of National INsecurity, the no-job Eveli Ganilau said, "The new fees and charges are expected to enhance service delivery within the force."

How can increasing fees and charges ENHANCE SERVICE DELIVERY? Really!

This is just another fast-track avenue to raise the funds to PAY FOR THE "FREE" BUS FARES AND TEXTBOOKS. So, in Voreqe's regime...

NOTHING IS FREE!!!!! YOU, THE FIJI TAXPAYERS (and visitors) HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR OWN SO-CALLED "FREE" BUS FARE AND TEXTBOOK SCHEME!

DA MAI LASUTAKI!

The DROP IS GOING TO BE HARSHER than the QUICK climb! Mark my words gal.

Enjoy the ILLEGAL RIDE while it lasts. Because your sins of supporting a band of thieves will be paid to your children (if/when you have any) and your grandchildren.
